The OCC Group officially opened its doors in 2006 but the beginnings of this company are rooted 36 years earlier. Trent and Steve grew up together in Fairfax, Virginia. As if they hadn't had enough of one another, they headed off to James Madison University together. After graduation, the two returned to Northern Virginia and began their careers in the construction and sales industries. As the years passed, they began families giving thought to relocating to a city that incorporated diversity, tradition, growth, culture and most importantly, a great family environment. Many late night talks and a few years later, the families had made their home in Powhatan, Virginia by unanimous decision. It was at this point that the talks began about the home remodeling industry. Business quality and integrity were at the forefront of such conversations and it was then the idea of OCC Group was born.

As a new business, the OCC Group set their business foundation on their best strengths: strong work ethic, a love of the industry, and integrity in all aspects of the business.
